If there is one thing that causes brides more stress than anything else, it’s The Timeline. Trying to figure out how to fit hair, makeup, travel, ceremony, and photos into one day can feel like a math puzzle.

But here is the good news: You don't have to do it alone. Custom timeline assistance is included in every wedding package I offer. I sit down with all my couples to build a flow that works for their specific day. We figure out the logistics together so that on the actual day, you aren't checking your watch—you’re just enjoying the champagne.

To get you started, here are two sample timelines I use often: one for a First Look, and one for Tradition.

Option 1: The First Look Timeline (Maximum Photo Time) If you want to attend your own cocktail hour and get the nerves out of the way early, this is for you.

1:00 PM: Getting Ready Photos (Robes, details, final touch-ups)

2:30 PM: First Look (Private moment with just the two of you)

3:00 PM: Couple Portraits & Wedding Party Photos

4:00 PM: Family Formals (Yes, we do these before the ceremony!)

4:30 PM: Bride & Groom in Hiding / Guests Arrive

5:00 PM: Ceremony

5:30 PM: Cocktail Hour (You actually get to mingle!)

6:30 PM: Grand Entrance & Reception

Option 2: The Traditional Timeline (Aisle Reveal) If you’ve always dreamed of that moment where the doors open and he sees you for the first time, stick to tradition! Just remember, we have to move fast during Cocktail Hour.

1:30 PM: Getting Ready Photos

3:00 PM: Separate Wedding Party Photos (Bride w/ Bridesmaids, Groom w/ Groomsmen)

4:00 PM: Bride & Groom in Hiding

5:00 PM: Ceremony

5:30 PM: Cocktail Hour Begins (Guests mingle)

5:40 PM: Family Formals (At the altar)

6:00 PM: Wedding Party & Couple Portraits (Golden Hour!)

6:45 PM: Grand Entrance

See? It fits! The key is communication. Whether you are planning a massive celebration or an intimate gathering, we will build a custom timeline that prioritizes the photos you want most. If you are currently drowning in spreadsheets trying to plan your 2026 wedding, reach out—I’d love to help you structure your perfect day.
